In today’s Virslīga match, BFC Daugavpils hosted FK Tukums 2000. Although the visiting team hit the post just one minute into the game, Daugavpils secured a decisive victory with a score of 3-0.

Five minutes before the final whistle, they sealed their victory with a third goal. Gļebs Kačanovs made a mistake that allowed Barthelemy Diedhiou to receive the ball near the penalty area, and he then set up Gļebs Mihaļcovs, who scored to make it 3-0.
This goal was particularly special for Mihaļcovs, as it was his first in the Virslīga and came in his 53rd match.
