In today’s Georgian top-flight match, forward Gytis Paulauskas provided an assist for his team, Dinamo Batumi, leading them to a 2-0 victory against Telavi.

The 25-year-old forward, who is on loan at Dinamo Batumi from the Ukrainian club Kolos Kovalivka, was again in the starting lineup. After a challenging start in which he did not contribute with a goal or assist in his first six league games, Paulauskas today finally got that monkey off his back.

Just before halftime, Gytis set up his teammate Luka Kapianidze, who scored from close range, beating the goalkeeper. Later in the second half, Dinamo Batumi secured their win with an insurance goal, marking their third victory in the last four games.

Paulauskas played the entire match today. Dinamo Batumi remains one of the two unbeaten teams in the league, currently sitting in second place with 15 points after seven games. The only other undefeated team is Iberia 1999, which leads the table with 17 points. Paulauskas and his teammates will host Samgurali in their next match on Monday.
