FCI Levadia announced the signing of 20-year old Ghanaian attacking midfielder Enock Otoo from Danish Superliga team Lyngby.

The young attacking midfielder joined joined Danish Nordsjaelland’s U19s team in 2022. Since January 2024, the player was representing Lyngby. Otoo is a good addition for the team, due to his technical skills and agility, states the club’s press release.

Enock Otoo:

“I know that Levadia is a team, who likes to keep hold of the time for the most part, dominate games and be dangerous against their opponents. It is something, that I want to be a part of. I believe, that keeping hold of the ball to damage the opponents and working together as a team will help us to victory, week in, week out. What made me join the club, is their presented plan. The coach and the club as a whole explained, how they will help me develop as a player and how I will fit the team. As a young footballer, it felt good to hear that. I know, that it is also a team, who give young players the chance to prove themselves, which is also really important to me. For me, the team comes first – if the team plays well, every individual’s performances will be seen in a good light. My expectations are to use my skills, to help the team win every week. And of course, our target is to win the league and qualify for Europe. I am ready to commit during the good times and the bad times, because we stick together as a team, not as individual players. I can’t wait to begin training and to meet the fans at the stadium. The fans – I have heard, how important you are to the club, and I am waiting eagerly to see you supporting us, when the team plays to satisfy you all. Together, we can create even more memories. Vamos, Levadia!

Club president Viktor Levada added:

“Welcome to the club, Enock Otoo! We signed a contract with a young and talented footballer, who comes from one of the best African academies. From his home country, he joined Danish clubs and now an Estonian club – we see a lot of potential in him! I believe, that we are able to support one another in reaching new targets. We thank Lyngby for their professional cooperation. I wish Enock and the team luck for the new season!”

Levadia will start pre-season training tomorrow, on the 7th of January, which will feature both new foreign players. The reigning champions have been active in the transfer window, announcing the signings of Tanel Tammik, Gregor Lehtmets and former Paide man Bubacarr Tambedou, with Ioan Yakovlev departing the club.
