The reigning Premium Liiga champions FCI Levadia Tallinn have announced the departure of 26-year old winger Ioan Yakovlev, who has signed for Greek second tier team Panionios Athens.
Yakovlev is signing for an already familiar team to Levadia, as former striker Felipe Felicio can be found from their roster. Yakovlev is a FCI Levadia academy graduate, who rejoined the team in 2023. In the two seasons, he played in 73 games, scored 9 goals and assisted a further 7.
Yakovlev stated in a press release:
“I would like to take a moment, to express heartfelt gratitude to FCI Levadia for the unforgettable times at this club. In the last two years I have grown as a player and as a human and will always cherish the memories and experiences, that I witnessed at this amazing club. I would like to thank all my team mates, coaching staff and the board for their professionalism, dedication and support. All of you have played a significant role in my development and I am really grateful for it. Now, as I take on the next chapter of my career in Panionios FC, I wish only the best for Levadia!”
