Reigning Premium Liiga champions FCI Levadia have announced the signing of 22-year old Gambian forward Bubacarr Tambedou.

Tambedou is known to Estonian football fans from 2022-2023 seasons, when he represented Paide Linnameeskond’s colors. Tambedou left Paide at the start of the 2023 season on loan for FC Sheriff in Moldova, but returned in the same summer. In 2024, Paide sold Tambedou to Israeli side Hapoel Tev Aviv, from where he joined Dinamo Batumi in Georgia half a season later.

I believe, that together, while motivating each other we can offer unforgettable memories for the club and for the fans this season! I am excitedly waiting to start pre-season with this team! The fans of FCI Levadia, we will meet soon!”

“Welcome, Bubacarr Tambedou! We are happy, that a high quality forward has joined us. He has shown his good quality in Estonia before and we believe, that we can take the next step toward our mutual targets together. Bubacarr showed his wish to join Levadia and to make his skills work for the team! I wish Buba and the rest of the team good luck and many successes in the new season!”
