Former A Lyga striker Lukas Kochanauskas, who during his career represented clubs such as Trakai (now Riteriai), Panevėžio Ekranas, Liepājas Metalurgs, Atlantas Klaipėda and Pakruojo Kruoja, has found a new place in football after ending his playing career. The former Lithuania U-21 international now dedicates most of his time to youth development, working with young players and focusing particularly on their physical preparation.

Kauno Žalgiris sign Argentine champion Franco Baldassarra

Kauno Žalgiris have completed the signing of Argentine midfielder Franco Baldassarra. The 27-year-old joins after winning the Apertura with Platense, an officially recognised Argentine top-flight title from the 2025 season that also brought Copa Libertadores qualification. Baldassarra has over 100 Argentine league appearances and previously spent 2023-24 on loan at Panetolikos.
