Riga head coach Adrián Guľa says his contract runs until 30th of November and he has not been told whether it will be renewed, leaving his position for the club’s December Conference League fixtures uncertain.

“I have a contract until 30 November,” the Slovak said after Riga’s goalless draw in Ogre. “I’m ready to finish my work at Riga with great respect and the utmost professionalism. No one has spoken to me about continuing, so I can only speculate – perhaps yes, perhaps no. My focus is on the day-to-day work, and I’m ready to fulfil my contract until the final day.”

Riga FC have three Conference League matches remaining: they host Jablonec on Thursday, then face Atalanta at home on 10th of December and visit Borac on 17th of December. The club will also play RFS in the Virsliga and meet Auda in the Latvian Cup final on 20th of November.

RFS officially reclaimed the league title on Sunday, leaving Riga FC without the crown for the fifth time in six seasons.
