Lithuanian champions Gintra have learned their potential opponents for the second qualifying round of the 2026-27 UEFA Women’s Champions League after Riga FC Women won their first qualifying mini-tournament.
Riga FC Women topped mini-tournament three, finishing the event with a 4-1 win over Glentoran before beating hosts Wrexham by the same score in the final. The Latvian side will now move on to the next stage, where they could face Gintra in Denmark.
Gintra travel to Køge in early August for mini-tournament seven. They will face Scottish side Heart of Midlothian on 5th of August at 16:30 Lithuanian time, with the Edinburgh club arriving as reigning Scottish Women’s Premier League champions after winning the title for the first time.
The other semi-final will see HB Køge meet Riga FC Women. The third-place match and the final are scheduled for 8 August, also in Køge.
Only the winner of the mini-tournament will remain in the Champions League qualifying path, with the teams finishing second and third moving into the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.
