Eriks Santos to leave Narva Trans after two and a half years

Eriks Santos will not play for Narva Trans in the Esiliiga next season, the club have announced. The Brazilian centre-back joined two and a half years ago and made more appearances for Narva Trans than for any other club in his career.

Santos played 88 competitive matches for the Estonian side, scoring twice and providing four assists. He featured in 25 Premium liiga games this season, as Trans finished bottom of the table.

“Football is not only about numbers. Eriks won the support of Narva’s football fans and left his mark on the history of our club. We are sure that other Estonian football fans will remember him too,” the club statement said. The club thanked Santos for his work and professionalism and wished him success in his career, adding that their paths might cross again.
