
FK Auda announced that they will hold two pre-season training camps abroad – first in Dubai and then in Turkey – where they will play eight friendly matches against clubs from around the world.
In a post on their homepage, Latvian bronze medallists FK Auda announced details of two back-to-back training camps abroad. First, the green-blacks will head to Dubai, where they will begin preparations for their 2025 campaign in Dubai Sports City. The club flew there yesterday and are already in training.
Whilst in Dubai, Auda will play three friendly matches:
- against Chinese Zhejiang Professional F.C. on the 22nd of January
- against Uzbek FC Sogdiana Jizzakh on the 30th of January
- against Chinese Chengdu Rongcheng F.C. on the 2nd of February
The club will complete their Dubai camp on the 3rd of February and head to Turkey to begin the next stage of preparations. Auda will play a further five friendly matches whilst in Turkey:
- against Bosnian FK Borac Banja Luka on the 5th of February
- against Ukrainian FC Oleksandriya on the 8th of February
- against Czech FC Zbrojovka Brno on the 12th of February
- against Kazakh FC Shakhter Karagandy on the 17th of February
- against Danish Thisted FC on the 21st of February
Following an unexpected departure of their former head coach Zoran Zeljkovic to FC Rodina Moscow, FK Auda are yet to announce his replacement and, presently, remain without a head coach or a goalkeeper coach.
The 2025 Virslīga fixtures are yet to be released as the licensing process had only recently been completed, but the new season is expected to start at the beginning of March.
