Lithuanian Toplyga side Hegelmann have strengthened their squad with the signings of Brazilian defenders Nathan Vitor de Almeida Silva and Richard dos Santos Presser.
Both players have joined during the summer transfer window and have already been registered for the remainder of the 2026 Toplyga season.
Twenty-two-year-old Nathan is a 191-centimetre left-footed centre-back who returns to European football after previous spells with Slovak side Šamorín. A product of Bahia’s academy, he most recently played in Brazil for Ituano and Maguary.
The Brazilian describes himself as a physically strong defender who is comfortable in the air and capable of building attacks from the back. He also believes his leadership qualities can help bring greater stability to Hegelmann’s defence.
“I chose Hegelmann because of the project they presented to me. I believe I can contribute a lot during the remainder of the season,” Nathan said.
The club’s second addition is 19-year-old left-back Richard dos Santos Presser, who arrives from the youth system of Brazilian side Coritiba.
Richard represented Coritiba’s Under-20 team, featuring in the Brazilian U20 Championship and the prestigious Copinha youth tournament. Comfortable with both feet, he describes himself as an attack-minded full-back who relies on his pace and dribbling ability while contributing at both ends of the pitch.
The move to Lithuania marks the first overseas experience of his career. “This is a huge opportunity for me. I hope to help the team and contribute to a successful remainder of the season,” Richard said.
Their possible debuts might happen today, when Hegelmann in a league action will host FK Žalgiris Vilnius.
