Lithuanian A Lyga side FA Šiauliai have announced that Serbian striker Milan Djokić will not remain with the club for the upcoming season.

The 28-year-old forward joined Šiauliai ahead of last season and made an immediate impact in his lone campaign in Lithuania. Djokić scored 13 goals in 34 matches, finishing joint fourth in the A Lyga top scorers’ chart.

His most productive spell came during the summer months, from late June to late August, when he netted nine goals and provided three assists. That impressive run included a hat-trick against Džiugas Telšiai, one of the standout individual performances of the season.

Upon his departure, Djokić shared an emotional farewell message:

“I sincerely want to thank the club for the opportunity and the trust shown in me. Special thanks go to the coaching staff for their professionalism, support, and hard work throughout my time here in Šiauliai. I am also very grateful to all my teammates – it was an honor to share the locker room and the pitch with them. The memories, experiences, and friendships I gained here will stay with me for the rest of my life. I wish the club, staff, and players every success and great achievements in the future.”

FA Šiauliai which finished the 2025 A Lyga season in fifth place on Monday gathered for the first training session as they begin preparations for the upcoming campaign.
