Liepāja finished the Virslīga season with a 2-1 win over Grobiņa in the Liepāja derby, despite playing the second half a player short.

Grobiņa took the lead in the 21st minute when Artjoms Puzirevskis struck accurately from the edge of the penalty area. Oloko equalised eight minutes later, but Liepāja’s Brazilian centre-back Taliska was dismissed before half-time after receiving two yellow cards. Oloko headed against the post in the second half, then followed up as the ball rebounded off him and into the net. The goal stood, with no handball given, allowing Oloko to complete the 2026 season as league’s Top Scorer with 31 goals, 7 ahead of Riga FC’s Badamosi.

Auda ended the campaign in third place on 73 points after a 2-1 away win over Tukums 2000. Alex Oginji put them ahead, Mahamoud Fofana made it 2-0 after the break, and Bogdans Samoilovs converted a penalty for the hosts.

Super Nova and Daugavpils drew 1-1, with Maksims Kopilovs scoring from the spot for Daugavpils before Raivis Ķirsis equalised. Super Nova had 30 shots and finished with an expected-goals advantage of 3.26 to 1.34.

Jelgava beat relegated Ogre United 4-0. Martin Hasek scored twice before the break, with Tomas Rataj and Maksims Semeško adding second-half goals.

The scheduled Riga-RFS derby was not played after Riga declined to take part; the Latvian Football Federation’s disciplinary committee will consider the case. RFS finished the season with 89 points from 35 matches, ahead of Riga on 83 from 35.
