Photo: Janek Eslon Newly crowned Estonian champions FCI Levadia Tallinn have extended Brazilian forward Wendell’s contract until the end of 2028 after activating an option in his existing deal. The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the Premium Liiga’s most prolific goalscorers since arriving at the club in August 2025.
Wendell made an immediate impact during his first half-season in Estonia, scoring six goals and providing four assists in 14 league appearances. He has continued his impressive form this season, registering 18 goals and three assists in 29 matches, putting him in contention to finish the campaign as the Premium Liiga’s leading scorer. In total, the Brazilian has scored 24 goals in 41 league appearances for Levadia.
“When we signed Wendell, we believed in his potential to develop into a top-level striker. He has met our expectations, and the goals speak for themselves,” Levadia’s sporting department said.
Before moving to Estonia, Wendell spent two years in Ukrainian football after leaving Palmeiras’ academy in the summer of 2023. During his time in Ukraine, he represented Dnipro, Veres Rivne and Polissya, making a total of nine appearances in the Ukrainian top flight.
Previously Levadia also announced the extensions of goalkeeper Karl Andre Vallner and full-back Frank Liivak.
