Tartu Tammeka forward Tristan Koskor said his side’s failure to find a decisive touch was “a huge disappointment” after a second goalless draw of the season against Pärnu Vaprus.
Tammeka controlled long spells on home soil but could not break through a low Vaprus block, leaving the match locked at 0-0.
“Disappointment is very big. We were definitely the better team on the pitch, unfortunately we didn’t put the finishing touch on it,” Koskor told Soccernet TV after the match. Koskor felt the hosts could have increased their pressure in the final third and been sharper with deliveries into the box.
Despite the outcome, he said Tammeka’s overall performance with the ball was encouraging and that there was no need for drastic changes at the break.
“We started very well and were very good on the ball for the whole match,” he added. “At half-time we said we needed to be more patient and look for the right moment. Nothing had to change radically – the first half actually worked.”
