Latvia youth international Henrijs Holtoms has signed his first professional contract with Swiss Super League club Lausanne-Sport, according to Baltic Football News information. The 16-year-old midfielder has agreed a deal running until the summer of 2029.
Holtoms has been part of the Lausanne-Sport organisation since the summer of 2024 and has now taken the next step in his development by signing his first professional contract with the Swiss club.
Born on March 28, 2010, the midfielder can operate both as a box-to-box midfielder and in the number ten role. This season, he has made three appearances for Lausanne-Sport’s U17 side in Switzerland’s Elite U17 league.
Holtoms has also become a regular at youth international level for Latvia. He recently represented the Latvia U17 national team at a tournament in Moldova, featuring in all three matches.
In total, the 16-year-old has made nine appearances for Latvia U17, scoring one goal.
