In Matchday 17 of the Tonybet Virslīga, FK Auda claimed an impressive 4–2 away win over FK Tukums 2000, marking their eighth victory of the season. Auda’s Kemehlo Nguena scored a hattrick in this win.
Tukums opened the scoring early on with a quick counterattack. Niks Dusalijevs burst forward and, instead of passing left, opted to shoot, finding the bottom corner to give the hosts a 1–0 lead.
Auda responded 11 minutes later. In a well-worked positional attack, Oskars Rubenis took a chance from distance and beat goalkeeper Vladislavs Kapustins. It was Rubenis’ first goal of the season.
Auda continued to press and were rewarded again before halftime. Following a dangerous cross into the box, the Tukums defense failed to clear the ball properly. Kemehlo Nguena capitalized, smashing in his sixth goal of the season to make it 2–1 at the break.
The second half started with a blow to Tukums. Rubenis was fouled in the box, and the referee awarded a penalty. Nguena stepped up and calmly converted for his second goal of the match.
Tukums fought back in the 68th minute when substitute Raivis Ķiršs rose above the defense to head in a cross, reducing the deficit to 3–2.
However, just minutes later, Tukums conceded another penalty after a handball in the area. Nguena completed his hat-trick with another confident finish from the spot, sealing a 4–2 victory for Auda.
Both teams saw the game out without further goals, as Auda celebrated another strong performance and three valuable points.
