Lithuanian manager Valdas Dambrauskas, who only joined Hungarian side Diósgyőri VTK (DVTK) this February, appears to be on his way out after just a few months at the club. According to reports in the Hungarian press, DVTK is undergoing significant changes at the top.

The club has parted ways with sporting director Csenger Horváth, replacing him with Zoltán Kovács, who previously worked with DVTK during the 2013/14 season. Local outlet amigeleken.hu also reports that Dambrauskas will soon depart, and the team may reappoint Vladimir Radenković as head coach—the very man Dambrauskas succeeded earlier this year.

While his time in Miskolc may have been short, Dambrauskas isn’t short on options. According to BalkanSports, the Lithuanian tactician already has several offers on the table for the upcoming season.

DVTK finished sixth in the league last season, tallying 44 point.

Dambrauskas’ coaching journey has taken him across Europe. Before his brief spell in Hungary, he led clubs in several top leagues, including Ludogorets in Bulgaria and Hajduk Split in Croatia. He also left his mark in Greece with OFI Crete FC and in Cyprus with Omonia Nicosia. His earlier career saw success in the Baltics with Ekranas, FK Žalgiris, and FC RFS.
