In a Norwegian second division match, Lūkass Vapne scored his first goal for his new club, Sogndal IL, helping the team secure their first win of the season by defeating Ranheim 2-1.

The 21-year-old Latvian attacking player made his third consecutive league start of the season in the Norwegian second division. After losing their first two matches, Sogndal took the lead midway through the first half when Erik Flataker scored. Just before halftime, Lūkass added to the scoreline by receiving the ball just inside the edge of the box and firing a shot into the bottom right corner, beating the goalkeeper and making it 2-0.

Late in the second half, Sogndal conceded one goal, but the game ended 2-1 in their favor. Lūkass played the entire match, and with this win, Sogndal moved up to 11th place in the league table after three games. Their next match is set for Thursday, where they will face lower league side Sandviken in the second round of the cup.
