In the Czech Chance Liga, Artur Dolžnikov made a late appearance in the game as his team, Sigma Olomouc, secured an important 3-0 victory against Česke Budějovice.
The 24-year-old Lithuanian player made his fifth appearance in the Czech top flight today. The former star of FK Riteriai and FK Kauno Žalgiris, came onto the field in the 82nd minute, with his team already leading 3-0.
Thanks to this win, Dolžnikov and Sigma Olomouc moved into the top six of the league and will continue their season in the Championship group, where they still have a chance to compete for a spot in next season’s European competition qualifiers.
However, before that, Dolžnikov and Sigma Olomouc will face Ostrava in the Czech MOL Cup semifinal match on Tuesday.
