In the Polish Women’s Ekstraliga the Latvian national team player Santa Sanija Vuškāne scored her first ever Polish top-flight goal as she helped her GKS Katowice beat Gdansk 4:0.
The 19-year-old forward in the winter joined the Polish Ekstraliga leaders GKS Katowice. The former FS Metta and RFS Women star striker in her sixth league match finally scored her first goal as she opened the score in the 15th minute of the game.
The Latvian forward played 75 minutes today as her GKS Katowice are still perfect in the league with 18 wins out of 18 games. With four games remaining in the league, they need just three points to secure their second league title in the last three seasons.
