In the Czech Chance Liga, Latvian forward Raimonds Krollis scored in his third consecutive game, helping Slovan Liberec secure an important 2:0 victory against Hradec Králové.
The 23-year-old forward started the match and contributed to the score early in the game. The Hradec Králové defense was caught off guard, allowing two Liberec players to rush toward the goalkeeper. Krollis’s Nigerian teammate, Ahmad Ghali, passed the ball unselfishly to Raimonds, who simply had to tap it into an open goal. This goal marked Krollis’s fifth of the season in just eight appearances since his arrival in January.
Late in the game, Liberec scored an insurance goal, clinching three crucial points as they vie for a spot in the Championship group.
Raimonds played for 67 minutes in the match. With this win, Slovan Liberec moved up to sixth place in the table, overtaking both Hradec Králové and Sigma Olomouc. Next week, Liberec will host Karviná in the final game of the regular season before the teams are divided into groups. The top six teams will continue their season in the Championship group.
