
In today’s Japanese J2 League match, Vykintas Slivka contributed to Sagan Tosu’s first goal as they secured their second consecutive victory by defeating V-Varen Nagasaki 2-0.
The 29-year-old Lithuanian midfielder started the game and provided an assist for the opening goal in the 31st minute. Slivka skillfully intercepted the ball from an opposing defender during an attack, made his way into the penalty area, and passed it to a teammate in the middle, who successfully converted the chance, making the score 1-0.
In the second half, Sagan Tosu doubled their lead and clinched their second win in a row. Slivka played 76 minutes in his ninth appearance of the season before being substituted. So far this season, he has recorded one goal and one assist in those nine matches.
With 13 points after nine games, Sagan Tosu is currently in 8th place in the league table. Their next match is scheduled for Saturday when they will host Renofa Yamaguchi.
