The Singapore Premier returned after a month-long break. Dāvis Ikaunieks and his DPMM FC secured a surprising 0:0 draw against the league leaders, Lion City, in their first match after the break.

The 31-year-old Latvian forward, who has scored seven goals in his first 11 games for the club, was in the starting lineup for this match. Ikaunieks played the entire game as his side held the current league leaders scoreless for the first time since last July.

DPMM FC remains in 7th place in the league table, with 26 points from the same number of games. Their next match is scheduled for next Saturday, where they will host Albirex Niigata.
