In the Italian Serie B, Lithuanian goalkeeper Marius Adamonis started again for FC Sudtirol as they played a 1-1 draw against Cesena.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper, who is on loan from the Serie C side Catania, made his 10th appearance of the season in Serie B. Sudtirol took the lead in the first half when Finnish U21 international Niklas Pyyhtia scored.

The only goal Adamonis conceded occurred in the second half. Elayis Tavsan executed a perfect shot from inside the box, hitting the top right corner and giving the Lithuanian goalkeeper no chance.

Following the draw, Sudtirol moved out of the relegation zone. After 32 games, they have accumulated 35 points, placing them in 14th position—just one point ahead of Brescia, who sit in 16th place, a position that does not guarantee safety.

Sudtirol’s next match will take place on Saturday, when they will play an away game against Salernitana.
