In the Kazakhstan Premier League, Lithuanian national team defender Kipras Kažukolovas played the full match as his team, FC Astana, secured a 2-1 victory against FC Ordabasy.

The 24-year-old has started in every league game this season, and today was no exception.

Astana took the lead in the 33rd minute when Ousmane Camara scored. Ordabasy equalized a few minutes later, but in the second half, Camara scored again, completing his brace and ultimately netting the game-winning goal, which extended Astana’s winning streak.

Kažukolovas, who is in his second season with the Kazakhstan club, has made four appearances this season. Following this win, Astana now leads the league table with ten points after four matches.

Next week, Kažukolovas and his teammates will begin their Kazakhstan Cup campaign against fellow top-flight team Okzhetepes, with the match scheduled for Sunday.
