
Justas Lasickas scored a goal today, helping his team, NK Olimpija Ljubljana, secure a spot in the Slovenian Cup semifinals with a 5-2 victory over second-division side Beltinci.
The 27-year-old defender started the match and scored the second goal in the 19th minute, putting Olimpija Ljubljana ahead 2-0. Lasickas was substituted at the beginning of the second half when the score was 4-1 in favor of Olimpija Ljubljana. This match marked his 33rd appearance of the season across all competitions, during which he has scored three goals, two of them in the Slovenian Cup.
Yesterday Artemijus Tutyškinas and Armandas Kučys NK Celje also reached the semifinals by defeating Pijus Širvys’s NK Maribor side 1-0.
Olimpija’s next match will be on Sunday, when they play an away game against Primorje.
