In the Czech Republic’s highest football league, Raimonds Krollis scored his third goal of the season today, helping Slovan Liberec secure a 4-0 victory against Slovacko in an away match.

The 23-year-old Latvian forward last found the net in Czechia just over a month ago, when he scored his first two goals for Liberec in a 3-1 win against Mlada Boleslav.

During today’s match, Krollis started and made his sixth appearance since transferring from the Italian club Spezia Calcio. He opened the scoring in the 13th minute by receiving a pass in the box from Qendrim Zyba, a Kosovar player. Krollis took a great touch to maneuver past one defender and then beat the goalkeeper with a shot that found the bottom right corner of the net.

In the remainder of the first half, Slovan Liberec added three more goals, taking a commanding 4-0 lead by the time they reached half-time. The score remained unchanged in the second half as Krollis’s team continued their push for a spot in the Top 6, which would allow them to compete in the championship group. Krollis was substituted in the 64th minute.

Next Saturday, Liberec and Krollis will host Ceske Budejovice in their upcoming match.
