To celebrate 10 years in the Latvian top flight, FC RFS will play the 2025 season in custom anniversary kit, which features a celebratory crest design.
Keen observers will have noticed something different about the kit in which Latvian Champions took to the field in the Latvian Super Cup against Riga FC last Saturday. This new kit not only consists of a Nike 25/26 Dri-FIT jersey but also a redesigned logo, which features number 10 and larger letters ‘RFS’ crowned by a smaller version of RFS’s lion.
Speaking to Baltic Football News RFS’s press secretary, Paulius Jakelis, noted that the club wanted to celebrate 10 years in Virslīga and idea of this special jersey design came to the fore as one of the most expressive ways to do it. The anniversary logo was designed in-house and this kit will be used throughout the entire 2025 season, making it a rare collectible item in Latvian football.
In addition to the anniversary design, the 2025 kit also features a new sleeve sponsor – a Latvian food flavouring manufacturer ‘melt’. Previously, RFS’s shirt sleeve sponsor was automotive parts supplier Senson Group.
