FC Džiugas Telšiai has officially announced the signing of Ukrainian left-back Vyacheslav Kulbachuk.
The 20-year-old player began his career at various youth academies in Ukraine before moving to Hungary in 2022, where he joined the Honvéd youth system.
During his three years in Hungary, Kulbachuk progressed through the ranks—from the youth team to the reserve squad—eventually making his first-team debut in March 2024. This season he made five appearances in the Hungarian second division with Honvéd.
Kulbachuk now joins Džiugas Telšiai, who achieved their highest ever finish in the A Lyga last year, placing 6th. The team is set to kick off their new season on Sunday with an away match against the reigning champions, FK Žalgiris, in Vilnius.
