A week before the start of the new Virsliga season, the champions RFS have announced the signing of Latvian defender Rendijs Šibass.
The 27-year-old full-back spent most of his career playing for FK Metta, where he appeared in 190 games, scoring nine goals and making 15 assists during his time there. In the 2021 season, he made a move to the Swedish club Dalkurd, which he left at the end of the season and later signed with FK Auda.
Last season he spent playing for FK Metta, scoring three and assisting seven goals throughout the whole of the 2024 season.
R. Šibass was also part of the squad, which traveled to the training camp in Turkey, where he participated in both training and friendly matches.
