Ex-MFA Žalgiris head coach takes Tammeka job

Tartu JK Tammeka have announced a new head coach for their women’s team, 31-year old Ukrainian ex Vilnius Žalgiris head coach Bogdan Lukaschenko.

The club’s press release states, that the Ukrainian’s tasks include coaching the women’s team and coordinating Tammeka’s women’s and girls’ football and monitoring their training sessions.

“First off, I want to thank the club for it’s trust and opportunity, that I can be able to work for the best club in this region. I am happy to join the blue and white family. My goal is to help with Tammeka’s women’s team and girls’ system. I see, that there is a lot of talent, who I want to help develop. I am eagerly waiting for mutual trainings and matches,” Lukaschenko stated.

He has previously worked in Estonia at Ararat Tallinn, played in Narva Trans’ and Sillamäe Kalev’s youth setups, also for Lasnamäe Ajax and Ararat, and has played futsal for several clubs.
