According to tv3.lt, the Lithuanian National team striker Gytis Paulauskas, will be loaned to Georgia, where he is set to join FC Dinamo Batumi.

The 25-year-old forward joined the Ukrainian Premier Liga side Kolos Kovalivka in January 2024 after a successful year with KF Egnatia in Albania. This season, Gytis has had limited playing time with the team. He has made 11 appearances in the Ukrainian highest league, starting in only two matches, and he has yet to score a goal.

Prior to his time in Albania, Gytis had a productive 2022 season with Riteriai, where he scored eight goals in 31 appearances.

He will now join FC Dinamo Batumi, a club that has won the Georgian league twice and is one of the oldest clubs in Georgia, having been founded in 1923. Last season, FC Dinamo Batumi finished fourth in the top division. The Georgian league follows a summer schedule similar to Lithuania’s, with games played from March to early December.

Paulauskas has earned 21 international caps and scored two goals for the Lithuanian National team.
