FK Liepāja has announced the signing of Marks Pačepko, the top scorer of the Nākotnes Līga. The 17-year-old forward comes from the AFA Olaine system and, despite his young age, has already completed three full seasons with the club.

In the 2022 season, Pačepko scored 3 goals in 19 matches, followed by 5 goals in 17 matches during 2023. His breakout year came in 2024 when he netted 19 goals in 24 games.

At the international level, Pačepko has represented Latvia’s U17 national team in 8 matches, scoring once in a 1-0 victory against Turkey.

FK Liepāja continues to strengthen its squad significantly. It remains to be seen whether Pačepko can compete for a spot in the first team or if the club will explore a loan option for the young striker.

The club has scheduled friendly matches against FC Džiugas on January 18 and FK Banga on January 24 before heading to a training camp in Turkey on January 26.
