Virslīga club FK Grobiņa continues its preparations for the upcoming season, announcing updates to its roster. Today, the club revealed it will part ways with five foreign players.

Among those leaving is 24-year-old goalkeeper Artem Malysh, who joined Grobiņa during the 2023 Nākotnes Liga season. Last season, Malysh featured in 31 matches in the Latvian championship.

Defensive midfielder Helistano Manga, 25, who joined the team last summer, is also departing. Manga struggled with injuries and managed only six appearances last season.

Another departure is 24-year-old holding midfielder Nazim Mammadzada. Despite joining in the summer, Mammadzada had a stronger presence in the Virsliga, making 12 appearances, primarily as a starter.

Finally, the team will not continue with two attacking Colombian players, Dairon Mosquera and Diego Mochado, who also joined last summer. Both made seven appearances but failed to stand out beyond their speed.
