FK Tukums 2000/Telms has announced their first new signings of the transfer window: 24-year-old attacking player Raivis Ķiršs is returning to Latvia after spending a year in Poland, and center-back Maksims Semeško will also join the Tukums side.
Raivis Ķiršs, a former Latvian youth international, previously played for Tukums on loan from FK Auda in 2023, where he had his best professional season, scoring nine goals in 30 Virslīga appearances. After a successful stint with Tukums, he chose not to stay in Latvia and instead moved abroad to join GKS Wikielec, a lower-league team in Poland.
In 2024, he made 27 appearances for GKS Wikielec and scored two goals. Throughout his career, Raivis has also played for FC RFS, FK Auda, SK Super Nova, Riga FC, and BFC Daugavpils in Latvia, totaling 87 Virslīga appearances and 18 goals.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old center-back Maksims Semeško spent last season on loan at FK Metta from Riga FC, where he made only three appearances. He was recalled from loan during the summer and played for the Riga FC reserve team in the Nākotnes Līga, making ten appearances.
