FK Auda has announced that Slovenian head coach Zoran Zeljkovic will not continue in his role, as both parties mutually agreed to end their collaboration.
Along with Zeljkovic, his entire backroom staff will also depart. This includes assistant coaches Borut Semler and Dzengis Cavusevic, goalkeeping coach Dino Seremet, fitness coach Matic Čoko, and analyst Maks Gantar.
The Slovenian coaching team joined FK Auda during the second half of the season and made an immediate impact. Under their guidance, the team secured 3rd place in the Virslīga, earned a spot in the UEFA Conference League qualification’s third round, beating B36 Torshavn and Cliftonville, and reached the Latvian Cup final.
There have been rumors circulating in russian media about Zoran Zeljkovic potentially taking over as head coach of Rodina Moscow. However, as of now, no official confirmation has been made regarding his appointment.
According to sources, Aleksandr Rekhviashvili will take over as caretaker manager while the club continues its search for a permanent head coach to lead the team into the upcoming season. He enjoyed a successful playing career, including multiple seasons with Latvian giants Skonto FC. After retiring, he transitioned into management and held the role of sporting director at Georgian powerhouse Dinamo Tbilisi. Most recently, he served as assistant manager at SK Super Nova, helping guide the newly promoted side in the Latvian top flight.
