Former FK Liepāja player Papa Yare Fall has signed a three-year deal with the North Macedonian club FC Struga.
The 24-year-old left-back arrived in Latvia in the summer of 2020 when he joined Valmiera FC. During his 3.5 years with Valmiera, he made 85 appearances, scored two goals, and provided seven assists. In 2022, he won the Virslīga title with them.
Last season, Pape left Valmiera and joined FK Liepāja, where he struggled with injuries, and the team faced challenges throughout the season. Under coach Tamaz Pertia, he made 17 appearances across all competitions. In his 4.5 years in Latvia, Fall made a total of 83 appearances in the Virslīga.
The Senegalese defender has now signed with back-to-back North Macedonian league champions FC Struga. He will be joining former FK Liepāja player Hogan Ukpa, who has been with the club since the summer of 2022.
