JK Narva Trans have announced on their social media platforms, that the contract of Mark Maksimkin has been extended till the end of 2026.
In 2024, Maksimkin’s season was shortened by injuries, letting him appear in 17 games. The 21-year old stated in a press release:
“I am very happy to stay at my home club with a developed team. This year our team showed, that we are able to play good football and be on par with the best teams in the country. So, adding stability next year, I believe, that we can rise higher in the table and give good fights in the cup. I will personally give my best on, and off, the field, to help the team develop and achieve targeted results. I hope to spend my season without any injuries, to develop as a player and showcase my best abilities.
Breaking into the first team in 2023, Maksimkin played in 26 games that season and scored 2 goals. One of which, was voted as the Premium Liiga Goal of the Season via an online vote.
