Keith FC has secured the services of young goalkeeper Rodrigo Vītols on an emergency loan from Aberdeen. The Fraserburgh-born shot-stopper, who recently committed his future to Aberdeen until 2027, will spend a short spell with the Highland League side.
Vītols featured against Turriff United on December 28, securing a 1:0 win and is expected to play against Brora Rangers on January 4.
Vitols was an integral part of the Aberdeen U18 team that clinched the U18 CAS League title last season. His performances have earned him recognition as a promising talent.
Born on February 20, 2007, Vitols holds dual citizenship in Scotland and Latvia. He has already represented Latvia at the U17 international level, earning three caps. His development has been closely monitored, and he is regarded as one to watch for the future.
