FK Džiugas Telšiai has announced that they have re-signed midfielder Deitonas Vinckus for another season.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who joined the Telšiai team last summer, made ten appearances in the A Lyga, including two in the starting lineup, while splitting his time between the first and reserve teams.

Deitonas began the 2024 season with BE1 Academy in the Pirma Lyga, where he played 16 games and scored three goals. Before that, he made his A Lyga debut as a teenager for FK Kauno Žalgiris in 2020 and has also represented the U-21 Lithuanian national team.

Yesterday, we reported that Džiugas has signed a contract extension with two key players – captain Lukas Ankudinovas and goalkeeper Marius Paukšte.
