SK Super Nova has confirmed a significant step in their preparation for the 2025 Virslīga season by extending the contract of their head coach, Ervīns Pērkons, until 2027. Pērkons, who has been instrumental in the club’s development and recent promotion to Latvia’s top tier, expressed his gratitude for the club’s trust:
“Thank you to the club and management for their confidence in me. We will work towards our shared goals and continue building on the foundation we’ve established at SK Super Nova,” said Pērkons.
The club also announced the continuation of their partnership with Ryuga Nakamura, the 23-year-old Japanese midfielder. After proving his worth in last season’s Nākotnes Liga, where he made 23 appearances and contributed consistently, Nakamura will remain an integral part of SK Super Nova’s squad for their Virslīga campaign.
The club commented: “We’re thrilled to extend our collaboration with Ryuga. We wish him success in the upcoming season.”
SK Super Nova has also confirmed that they will part ways with defenders Dmytro Mamich and Aleksandrs Butovskis.
