Latvia international defender Alvis Jaunzems has joined Virsliga side Auda after being sidelined by injury for almost a year.
The 27-year-old began his career in Staicele and has represented only Valmiera in Latvian professional football. He helped Valmiera win the 2022 league title before moving to Poland, where he joined Stal Mielec in 2023.
Jaunzems made 59 appearances for Stal Mielec, scoring twice and providing two assists. He moved to Lechia Gdańsk last summer and featured in 10 matches, registering one assist, before his injury ended his season. The defender has won 46 caps for Latvia, without scoring.
