According to information reported by journalist Dominik Schneider, Estonia international Rocco Robert Shein could be on the move this summer, with the 22-year-old midfielder attracting interest from England’s Championship and an unnamed top-flight club in Norway.
Among the Championship clubs linked with Shein are Millwall and Cardiff City. Millwall came close to securing promotion to the Premier League last season, finishing just one point short of the automatic promotion places before being eliminated by Hull City in the play-offs. Cardiff City, meanwhile, secured an immediate return to the Championship after finishing second in League One.
The 22-year-old Estonian international has been with Norwegian side Fredrikstad since March 2025, when he joined from Dutch club Dordrecht in a deal reportedly worth €800,000.
Since arriving in Norway, Shein has established himself as an important player for Fredrikstad. The midfielder, who has earned 24 caps for the Estonian national team, has made 49 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing ten assists. This season he has registered two goals and three assists in 14 matches across all competitions.
According to Schneider, club-to-club negotiations are already underway, with the potential transfer fee expected to be in the region of €3-5 million.
