After eight rounds of the TOPLYGA season, significant changes have taken place within the Šiauliai camp, as head coach Jurgis Pučinskis has stepped down from his position.
The Latvian specialist joined the organization last season, initially serving as an assistant coach. He was appointed head coach in January of this year. Under his leadership, the yellow-and-black side played a total of eight official matches, recording five draws and three losses.
For the time being, the role of head coach has been entrusted to former assistant Mantas Kuklys, who will lead the team on an interim basis.
It is also worth noting that Jurgis Pučinskis becomes the third head coach to depart a TOPLYGA side this season, following the exits of Roland Vrabec (FK Panevėžys) and Rolandas Džiaukštas (FK Žalgiris Vilnius).
