The Czech champions Slavia Prague have made an offer to sign FC RFS forward Faycal Konate, with the 19-year-old being on the radar for several other recognised European clubs.
Faycal Konate is attracting serious interest from one of Czech football’s biggest clubs. The FC RFS forward, who was called up to the Burkina Faso national team for the first time in August at the age of 18, is reportedly being pursued by Slavia Prague, the current Czech champions. Konate is also understood to be on the radar of several recognised European clubs, marking him as one of the most promising young talents to emerge from the Baltic region.
His playing profile has drawn comparisons to Tolu Arokodare, a striker who previously made a name for himself in Latvia before transitioning to top-level football, where he now competes in the English Premier League for Wolves.
Konate signed for RFS at the start of 2025, scoring 5 goals for the RFS reserves team before being loaned out to BFC Daugavpils. There, he scored four goals in seven appearances, as well as played both legs against Albanian side KF Vllaznia in the Conference League 1st qualifying round.

His outstanding performances in the summer earned him his first call-up to the Burkina Faso national team and led to RFS recalling him from loan. Konate made a further four first-team appearances for RFS, getting two goal contributions in four matches.
A potential transfer would mark another milestone for RFS in developing and showcasing young international talent on the European stage.
