Swedish specialist Andreas Alm set to stay with Liepāja till 2027

Latvian Virslīga side FK Liepāja have announced that they have signed a contract extension with the manager Andreas Alm and his staff till the end of the 2027 season.

52-year-old Swedish specialist who joined the side in May after taking over from interim manager Jānis Goba, has had some success managing the Kurzeme side. Liepāja with four games to go are in the comfortable 3rd place in the league table with a good chance to medal for the first time since 2021 season.

Under Alm Liepāja have played 24 matches with 14 of them ending in a win. Andreas Alm before taking over FK Liepāja managed various sides in his home country of Sweden and Velje BK and Odense BK teams in Denmark.

After the October international break FK Liepāja will return to Virslīga with an away game against FK Auda.
