Latvia international Kristaps Grabovskis opened his scoring account in the Danish First Division, netting the decisive goal as B.93 claimed their first home victory of the season with a 1-0 triumph over Middelfart.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was once again named in the starting lineup and quickly made his mark. Prior to this match, B.93 had lost all four of their home fixtures, collecting their 11 points exclusively on the road. But Grabovskis stepped up to end that streak.
In the 13th minute, he showed sharp instincts in the penalty area, pouncing on a loose ball and blasting in from close range to give his side the lead – and his first-ever goal in Denmark’s second tier.
The scoreline remained unchanged for the rest of the match, as B.93 celebrated their long-awaited first home win of the campaign. Grabovskis played 77 minutes before being substituted. So far this season, he has recorded one goal and two assists in ten league appearances.
With 14 points from 11 matches, B.93 sit ninth in the standings. Their next league outing comes next Saturday, when they travel to face Aarhus Fremad.
