FK Riteriai have announced the addition of two new players to their squad, bolstering their lineup with experienced Togo international midfielder Charles Acolatse and Lithuanian defender Matas Dedura, formerly of FK Jonava.

30-year-old Charles Acolatse, who already made his debut for Riteriai in yesterday’s match against Sūduva, brings a wealth of international and European experience. The former Togo national team midfielder spent five of the past six seasons in Romania, primarily playing in the country’s second division. His career in Romania included spells with Universitatea Cluj, AFC Turris Oltul, Dunărea Călărași, Dacia Unirea, Viitorul, and most recently Metalul Buzău, where he appeared in 12 matches last season.

Acolatse began his football journey in the youth academy of French side Nantes and has also played in North Macedonia and France’s lower leagues. On the international stage, he has earned two caps for Togo, the latest coming in a friendly match against Libya in March 2024.

Joining him is 23-year-old central defender Matas Dedura. A product of the Kaunas Football School, Dedura made his top-flight debut in Lithuania’s A Lyga at just 16 years old with FK Kauno Žalgiris back in 2018. Since then, he has accumulated 16 appearances in the A Lyga, playing for both FC Hegelmann and FK Kauno Žalgiris.

This season, Dedura started with FK Jonava in Lithuania’s second tier, Pirma Lyga, before making the move to Riteriai. Like Acolatse, Dedura also made his debut for the club in the recent match against Sūduva.
