Estonian champions and current league leaders FCI Levadia have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Brazilian forward Gabriel Wendell.

Born in 2004, Wendell began his football journey in São Paulo, developing through the youth academy of SE Palmeiras, where he was a regular for the U20 side.

In February 2024, he made his first move to European football, joining the U19 team of Ukrainian club FC Polissya. His rapid development saw him promoted to the reserves by July, and soon after, to the first team.

Wendell featured in 10 matches for Polissya’s reserve squad and made four senior appearances, totaling 121 minutes. In January 2025, he was loaned to Ukrainian Premier League side Veres Rivne, where he made five top-flight appearances.

Gabriel Wendell: “I feel very happy about this new opportunity and I’m very grateful to Levadia for their trust.
The reception here was very warm! I came here to help the team in every way — I will never lack commitment and responsibility towards my teammates.”

Viktor Levada: “Our Brazilian journey continues. As we have agreed with our Ukrainian friends from FC Polissya, Wendell will join our club to further strengthen our attacking potential. We look forward to great goals and spectacular victories together. Vamos Levadia!”
